akaMonty, I missed you too!! Yeah, I guess we weren't cut out to be pretty, pretty princesses, but still...

Mamacita, you know I adore you. Thanks for the virtual hugs and the always welcomed advice. : )

Thank you, panthergirl! Your kind and inspiring words arrived at the perfect time. I can only aspire to your level of grace and style--I'm taking notes.

Gabby and Nat, as always, thanks for the inspiration! *Hugs*

Thanks for the warm homecoming!

panthergirl

Oh I'm sooooo glad you popped by my mostly-inert blog recently! Then I saw you again on AKAMonty and had to come back here to see what you're up to.

As an also thrice divorced, kids-with-different-dads person, you know there are no judgments here. Admitting that the third marriage didn't work (to friends and family) was definitely the hardest. But as cliché as it sounds, you really only do have one chance at this life and there is NO point in spending it unhappy.

Welcome back to the interwebs!

Mamacita

The only cure for baby-induced sleep deprivation, that I know of, that's not illegal, is time.

As for frogs. . . sometimes, they're kind of cuter BEFORE they turn into princes. Real-life princes are boring, inbred, and spoiled rotten. Frogs, on the other hand, are lively, perky, spontaneous, and eternally, sleekly, naked.

I didn't say that out loud, did I? Whew.

So glad you're back. We all missed you terribly.

Natalie

Beautifully said Gabby..Ask and be open to receive..

LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU! I have missed you EVER so. I have even stopped by here with a hopeful smile over the last WAY TOO MANY years to see if you'd posted! :)
You ARE strong and you'll handle all this mess - I think you & I could both use a little rescuing but on the other hand I'm not sure that we were made to be princesses. :)
I'm sorry to hear about the D-I-V-O-R-C-E, but one thing I love about you is that you are honest enough with yourself AND us to admit that whoops, maybe I made a little mistake. :) It's brave and honest of you.
ANYWAY.
Regretfully I have zero advice on baby sleeping because I've completely forgotten (or blocked) that part of mommyhood. heehee!
I'm looking forward to being along for the ride as you discover where you're going next.
LOVE YOU LU.
I'm glad you're here. xoxoxoxox

You are a wonderful mother, the kind of mom who always gives and never takes which sometimes is damaging to the soul. The answers to your questions will seek you, not the other way around. Sometimes you have to just count on fate and just make sure you aren't selling yourself short for the benefit of others, wealth, or success in the meantime. You are the only one who truly knows what the future holds for you... it just takes time to discover it. Hang in there, the truth will set you free soon.
:)

All is well and the future is a vast open field of beautifulness. What you think you become..so says Buddha..me too..your thinking positive will lead you where you desire to be. On the baby thing..ween him into his own bed..ween him away from crying for you a bit at a time. You don't have to think of it as torture. Think of it as creating his own independence. This can be done and he will always love you..
